Data Resources
- GIS Data from the New
Mexico Resource Geographic Information System (RGIS). The RGIS Clearinghouse
is a repository for New Mexico digital, geospatial data acquired from local
and national public agencies or created expressly for RGIS.
- Historical
imagery of New Mexico. The Earth Data Analysis Center (EDAC) maintains
an archive of aerial photography over New Mexico. Photography in this archive
dates from 1935 to the present.
- Recent
digital imagery of New Mexico. A partnership of federal, state, local,
and tribal governments coordinated by the New Mexico Geospatial Data Acquisition
Committee funded the NM Statewide Orthophotography Project. The 2005 DOQQs
were derived from imagery flown at 35,000 feet above average ground using
multiple source images for each DOQQ. The imagery that was used to create
these DOQQs was created from data collected during the irrigation season,
hence leaf-on for deciduous vegetation.
